WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?

Get ready to bring hope to our community! For the week of October 27, we are unleashing volunteers to bring hope and serve the community in whatever way we can. This means cleaning up trash, painting over graffiti, pulling weeds, construction, and resourcing those in need. We are partnering with our schools, our city and a variety of organizations in our community to help make a difference in our community.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

Anyone can help! Simply sign up a the button above. Someone will contact you to confirm and provide details.

Send the good news.

Send Great Joy.

As part of Hope Week, we challenge everyone to fill and return shoebox so that kids all across the world can experience the Good News and Great Joy of Jesus. The amazing journey of a shoebox gift begins with you and results in evangelism, discipleship, and multiplication.

what do you do:

  1. Grab a shoebox

We will have special boxes for you on Sundays, but you can use any shoebox.

  2. Fill The shoebox

Gather toys and supplies for children and fill that box up! See packing instructions here.

Before returning, please make purchase a tracking label which covers the shipping and handling costs.

  3. Return the shoebox

Once you’ve got it packed and labled, return your box on a Sunday morning on or before November 3. If you’re in a pinch and need to get it in, you can drop it off at our office, 1200 2nd St. Sacramento, CA 95814.

FAQ

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?

It’s simple we care about our community and we believe it’s our job to serve.

WHAT ABOUT KIDS? CAN WE BRING THEM ALONG?

Yes! All projects are open to kids unless otherwise stated. Kids can make a great addition to the service team, provided the projects match their maturity and skills. As a Small Group, you may decide to designate someone to stay with the very young children, so everyone else can be free to serve.

DO PARTICIPANTS GET A T-SHIRT?

T-shirts will be available for a purchase of $7. Everyone is encouraged to wear their shirt the day of the project. If you're not able to afford one, let us know. And YES, you can wear your shirt from a previous year!

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

Simply pick one from one of the projects above and click on the one that works for you. The project manager will then follow up with you on details.

I CAN’T MAKE IT THAT DAY, BUT CAN I CONTRIBUTE FINANCIALLY?

Absolutely! Your generosity will enable us to do more for our community. All contributions will be tax-deductible.
